Quotations

The Quotations module in PracHQ lists the quotations offered to the patients for surgeries, products or services.

Quotations module has the following features:

Quotations List

Quotations list is a list view of Quotations module. Quotations list has following features:

First/Previous/Next and Last buttons

You can navigate through the quotations list by using the First/Previous/ Next and Last buttons at the bottom right of the list.

Items per page

You can select number of quotations to be displayed per page by clicking on the Items per page drop down and selecting a number. By default 10 is selected.

Sorting Quotations list by columns

1. Quotations list can be sorted by the following columns:

   • Number

   • Establishment

   • Patient

   • Practitioner

   • Status

   • Date

2. Click on any column header to sort the list according to the column. For e.g. Number.

3. Quotations list is sorted in either ascending on descending order based on quotation number.

Search Quotation

1. To search for quotation, click on Search text box and enter quotation number or patient name.

2. Click on Search icon button.

3. Quotation/s that match the search criteria are listed in the quotations list.

View Quotation

1. To view a quotation, click on number of the quotation from the quotations list that you want to view.

2. User is navigated to the Quotation details page with Quotation Details tab as default.

3. Click Related Orders to view Quotation related orders list.

4. Click Record History tab to view record history details.

Add Quotation

1. To add a quotation, click on Add Quotationicon button on the top right corner of Quotations page.

2. User is navigated to the New Quotation page.

3. Fill in all the quotation details and click add quote item icon button.

4. Add quote item window pops up showing the results according to the default search criteria. User can change the search criteria to search for other items listed in the price books.

5. Select quote item/s and click button.

6. Quote item is added and user is navigated back to the New Quotation page.

7. Click save icon button.

4. Quotation is saved for the patient and 'Quotation has been saved successfully' message appears in toast.

Edit Quotation

1. To edit a quotation, click on quotation number from the quotations list that you want to edit.

2. User is navigated to the Quotation detail page.

3. Click the edit icon button.

4. Quotation detail page is changed to edit mode.

5. Update the details of the quotation and click save icon button.

6. Quotation details are updated and Quotation detail page is changed back to no edit mode. 'Quotation has been saved successfully' message appears in toast.

Print Quotation

1. To print a quotation, click on number of the quotation from the quotations list that you want to print.

2. User is navigated to the Quotation detail page.

3. Click the print icon button at the top right corner of the page.

4. User is navigated to a new tab on the browser showing the printable version of selected quotation.

Convert Quotation to Order

1. Only quotations with status 'Accepted by Customer' can be converted to orders. To convert a quotation to order, click on number of the quotation having the status Accepted from the quotations list that you want to convert to order.

2. User is navigated to the Quotation detail page.

3. Click the convert to order​ icon button at the top right corner of the page.

4. 'Quotation converted to order successfully' message appears in toast.

5. User is navigated to the converted order detail page.

Email Quotation to Patient

1. Quotations having the following statuses can be emailed to the patient:

   • Approved

   • Rejected

   • Presented to customer

   • Accepted by customer

   • Denied by customer

   • Booked Appointment

   To email a quotation to patient, click on number of the quotation having any of the above mentioned statuses from the quotations list that you want to email to patient.

2. User is navigated to the Quotation detail page.

3. Click the email quotation to patient​ icon button at the top right corner of the page.

4. 'Quotation email sent to patient successfully' message appears in toast.

5. Email is also listed in the communications section of the patient.

6. Open the email details page and click button.

7. User is navigated to a new tab on the browser showing the printable version of the quotation.

Delete Quotation using Quotation Detail Page

1. To delete a quotation using the quotation detail page, click on quotation number from the quotations list that you want to delete.

2. User is navigated to the Quotation detail page.

3. Click the delete icon button at the top right corner of the page.

4. A pop up window appears confirming the delete action.

5. Click button.

6. The quotation is deleted and user is navigated back to the quotations list page. 'Quotation successfully deleted' message appears in toast.

Delete Quotation/s using Quotations list

1. To delete quotation/s, select the check box displaying on each row of quotation list for each quotation that you want to delete and click delete icon button showing at the top right corner of the quotations list.

2. A pop up window appears confirming the delete action.

3. Click button.

4. The quotation/s is deleted from Quotations list and 'Quotations successfully deleted' message appears in toast.
