The ability to easily view and navigate to areas of application is key to improved productivity and user adoption. PracHQ has a clear UI which has various elements we will cover in this section.
The top navigation menu can be used to navigate to modules to create and manage records. The layout for the top navigation menu is a list of 7 modules. The top navigation menu has three elements. These are:
Module Menu - This lists the modules and provides the ability for users to navigate to modules within the application.
User Menu - This displays the user name for the user currently logged in. There is a drop down menu which gives users access to their profile, the user guide, the service desk and a link to logout.
In this chapter, we covered all elements of the PracHQ user interface. There are many elements which you can use to optimise your navigation and data management, to increase productivity.
In the next chapter, we will look at Application modules. Application modules are the data entities within PracHQ which can be standalone, or related to one or many other modules. Each module has a different function but many modules work together to structure and automate day to day business processes.
Today's Agenda - This displays the list of Today's appointments and events for the currently logged in user. Today's agenda can be expanded and collapsed by clicking hamburger button at the top right corner.
The sidebar is the main menu users will use to navigate to modules to create and manage records. The sidebar is part of the responsive theme and can be expanded and collapsed by hovering over it or by clicking on the hamburger button . The layout for the sidebar consists of PracHQ logo, a list of 8 Application Modules and 4 SetUp Modules.
