Users

A user represents someone who can log in to PracHQ system. A user has a username and password to enable them to log in to the system, and an email address.

The Users section of the Setup Panel holds settings for PracHQ user accounts and security access settings.

Users module has the following features:

Users List

Users list is a list view of Users module. Users list has following features:

First/Previous/Next and Last buttons

You can navigate through the users list by using the First/Previous/ Next and Last buttons at the bottom right of the list.

Items per page

You can select number of users to be displayed per page by clicking on the Items per page drop down and selecting a number. By default 10 is selected.

Sorting Users list with columns

  1. Users list can be sorted by the following columns:

    • Name

    • Email

    • User Type

    • Status

    • Created

2. Click on any column header to sort the list according to the column. For e.g. Name.

3. Users list is sorted in either ascending on descending order based on name.

View User

  1. Administrator user cannot be viewed or edited. To view a user, click on name of the user from the users list that you want to view.

2. Admin is navigated to the User details page.

Add User

  1. To add a user, click on Add User icon button on the top right corner of Users page.

2. Create New User window pops out.

3. Enter all valid details for adding User and click button.

4. User is successfully added and admin is navigated back to the Users list. 'Added new user and sent login details via email to user' message appears in toast.

Edit User

  1. Administrator user cannot be viewed or edited. To edit a user, click on name of the user from the users list or the edit icon button showing at the end of the row

    of the user that you want to edit.

2. Admin is navigated to the User details page.

Edit User Credentials Information

1. To edit the user credentials, click on Edit icon button on the top right corner of the User Credentials section.

2. User Credentials section is changed to edit mode.

3. Update the details and click button.

4. A pop up window appears confirming the update action.

5. Click button.

6. User Credential details are updated and User Credential section is changed back to no edit mode. 'User has been saved successfully' message appears in toast.

Edit User Information

  1. To edit user information, click on Edit iconbutton on the top right corner of the User Information section.

2. User Information section is changed to edit mode.

3. Update the details and click button.

4. User Information details are updated and User Information section is changed back to no edit mode. 'User has been saved successfully' message appears in toast.

Reset Password

  1. Administrator user password cannot be reset. To reset a user password, click on name of the user from the users list or the edit icon button showing at the end of the row of the user for whom you want to reset password.

2. Admin is navigated to the User details page.

3. In the compact layout, click button.

4. A pop up window appears confirming the reset password action.

5. Click button.

6. Reset password email is sent to user on the registered email address and 'Reset password email sent to user' message appears in toast.

Suspend User

  1. Administrator user cannot be suspended. To suspend a user, click on name of the user from the users list or the edit icon button showing at the end of the row

    of the user that you want to suspend.

2. Admin is navigated to the User details page.

3. In the compact layout, click button.

4. A pop up window appears confirming the suspend user action.

5. Click button.

6. User is suspended successfully and status appears in compact layout. 'User suspended successfully' message appears in toast.

Delete User using User Detail Page

  1. Administrator user cannot be deleted. To delete a user, click on name of the user from the users list or the edit icon button showing at the end of the row

    of the user that you want to delete.

2. Admin is navigated to the User details page.

3. In the compact layout, click button.

4. A pop up window appears confirming the delete action.

5. Click button.

6. User is deleted successfully and admin is navigated back to users list page. 'User deleted successfully' message appears in toast.

Delete User using Users list

  1. To delete a user, click the delete icon button showing at the end of the row of the user that you want to delete.

2. A pop up window appears confirming the delete action.

3. Click button.

4. User is deleted successfully and 'User deleted successfully' message appears in toast.
